This reagent contains 5% purified Human Serum Albumin (HSA) and other human blood components in a PBS solution (pH 7.4) containing 0.05% NaN₃.

This reagent can be used directly or diluted with PBS when necessary. Serum/plasma samples are typically diluted 2-fold with PBS for many immunoassays. If samples are diluted this way (2-fold with PBS), we suggest diluting the serum/plasma diluent with PBS 2-fold (1:1) as well when using it as a standard protein diluent to be consistent with the serum/plasma sample dilution. If further dilution of samples is necessary, we recommend using this serum/plasma diluent to further dilute the serum/plasma samples.

The solution may be stored at 4°C for up to 1 year from the date of shipment.
